How are bookings of different lengths priced?

All prices are per hour. Nettla scales them to the booking length, minute by minute.

Written by Nettla

Every price you enter is a price per hour, and Nettla scales it to the length of the booking. A £20 per hour court costs £30 for 90 minutes and £40 for 2 hours. There's nothing extra to set up.

Examples at £20 per hour

  • 60 minutes: £20

  • 90 minutes: £30

  • 120 minutes: £40

Bookings that cross two prices

Nettla prices each minute at the price that applies at that time. For example, if off-peak is £16 per hour until 10:00 and peak is £24 per hour from 10:00, a booking from 09:00 to 10:30 costs 1 hour × £16 + 30 minutes at £24 = £28.

Good to know

  • Cohort prices and longer-booking discount rates are also per hour.

  • The price above is for the whole court. How it's shared between players depends on whether they pay their part or one player pays in full. See "Are discounts applied per player or per court?"

  • To make longer bookings cheaper per hour, see "How do I offer discounts for longer bookings?"

  • Examples use £. Your prices are in your club's currency.
