Most cases come from the price list: a time is bookable only if the player has a price for the whole booking, and the lowest price always wins. Work through the checklists below.
A time can't be booked
No variant prices that time. Check the Opening days and times of every variant in the court's price list.
A special period price list is active on that court and doesn't price that time. A special list replaces the standard list completely.
The court's standard price list has a Start date in the future or an End date in the past.
The time is members-only (For players not linked to a pricing cohort is off) and the player isn't in an allowed cohort.
The booking runs into unpriced time. Every minute of the booking must be priced.
The court is switched off. Court enabled is off on new courts until you switch it on under Settings → Courts → (court) → Edit.
A booking rule blocks it: the date is beyond the player's booking window, or the length or gap rules don't allow it. See Settings → Rules & Limits → Booking Rules.
The court is blocked with an Unavailable booking, or it's already booked.
The player has reached a booking limit (only if your club uses booking limits).
For matches: matches can only be created on padel and tennis courts. Close to the start time, players can't create public matches or split-payment private matches (see the Auto-Cancellation tab).
A time is free or cheaper than expected
A variant was saved with its default price of 0. New variants start at 0 on every day, 07:00–23:00.
A discount row was left on All players, with a rate of 0 or a low rate. That row applies to everyone.
A cheaper variant overlaps the time. The lowest price always wins.
The player is in a cohort with a lower price, or the cohort has Apply full court discount switched on.
A special period price list is active on that court with different prices. Or a court added later isn't ticked on the special list, so it still uses the standard prices.
The booking was made before you changed your prices. Existing bookings keep their price.
An admin created it as Marked as paid or Free of charge.
Good to know
As an admin, you can't create a court booking, match or recurring booking on unpriced time, or for a player without a price. Use a Bespoke Booking instead.
Moving a booking doesn't recalculate its price.
