What’s the Difference Between a Standard and Special Period Price List?

When creating your price list, you’ll see two options:

  • Standard Price List

  • Special Period Price List

📅 Standard Price List

Your standard price list defines the prices used for most of the year—typically your regular court rates. This price list is active by default and applies unless a special period price list is scheduled to override it.

You can configure your standard price list to:

  • Set different prices by day of the week and by hour of the day

  • Apply different pricing based on player collections (e.g. members vs. non-members)

  • Control opening hours—only times with prices set are available for booking

✨ Special Period Price List

A special period price list is optional and used for temporary or future pricing changes. It automatically overrides your standard list during the set time period.

Use a special period price list when:

  • You want to offer discounted court prices during holidays or low seasons

  • You want to introduce a new price list starting from a specific future date

  • When the end-date of a special period price list is reached—the standard price list automatically kicks back in.

Special period price lists support the same flexibility as your standard list:

  • Set different prices by day of the week and by hour of the day

  • Apply different pricing based on player collections (e.g. members vs. non-members)

  • Control opening hours—only times with prices set are available for booking

Tip: If no special price list is active, your standard price list remains in effect.
