Deep links are special URLs that direct users to specific locations inside the Nettla mobile app — such as a match, event, or activity.
These links can be shared by clubs or players, making it easy to invite others or promote upcoming activities. For example:
A player can share a public or private match with friends via group chat
A club can post a link to a specific activity on social media or in an email newsletter
When clicked, the deep link opens directly in the Nettla app (or prompts the user to download it if they haven’t yet), taking the user straight to the relevant page.
What happens to the players current home club?
In Nettla, a player’s Home is the club they are currently visiting or interacting with.
When a player clicks on a deep link from another club:
They are automatically redirected to the linked destination (e.g. match or event)
That club is added to their Club List
The app switches context temporarily to show content from that club
This allows clubs to promote their offerings and attract new players seamlessly.
Club List and Removing Clubs
If a player joins another club via a deep link but doesn’t wish to keep it in their list, they can easily remove it:
Go to the Home screen in the Nettla app
Tap the “Switch” button (top area)
Locate the club in the list and remove it
This gives players full control over which clubs they follow or interact with.
