When a new player joins Nettla, they need an initial level to ensure fair match-making. Nettla offers two ways to set this:
Player Initiated Starting Level
When a player attempts to join their first level-restricted match or activity, they’ll be asked to self-assess using an interactive scale.
Players drag the scale left or right to choose their level.
Each level includes a short description to help guide their choice.
This provides a fair and transparent starting point for matchmaking.
Coach/Admin Assigned Starting Level
If a player doesn’t yet have a level, an admin or coach can set one directly in the admin platform.
Steps:
Go to Players → Player List.
Find and open the player’s profile.
Click on Level.
Select Set Level, then choose the player’s starting level.
Once set, this becomes the player’s active level.
