Can we have one Stripe account for all our clubs, or one per club?

Your Stripe account belongs to your company. How one shared account works, and what to do if you want one per club.

Written by Nettla

By default, all clubs in your company share one Stripe account, because the Stripe account belongs to the company in Nettla. If you want a separate Stripe account for each club, contact Nettla. They set it up for you.

One Stripe account for all clubs

  • All income from all your clubs goes to the same Stripe account.

  • Every payment includes a clubId in its Stripe metadata, so you can see which club each payment belongs to.

  • You manage one Stripe Dashboard and one payout schedule.

One Stripe account per club

  • Each club's payments go to its own Stripe account.

  • You get a clearer per-club view in Stripe, but you manage several Stripe accounts.

  • Several Stripe accounts can still pay out to the same business bank account.

  • Nettla sets this up by placing each club under its own company in Nettla. You can't attach a Stripe account to a single club yourself.
