Open your league and click Create round. The round form sets the dates, entry price, team and division sizes, scoring, match format, how matches are scheduled and paid for, and what happens to empty slots.
Before you start, decide
The registration dates and the round dates.
Whether the club schedules all matches or players arrange their own.
How many teams per division and how many move up and down.
How to create the round
Go to Play → Leagues and open the league.
Click Create round.
Fill in each section (below).
Click Save.
Dates
Registration start date: from this date the round shows in the app and teams can sign up.
Registration deadline: the last day teams can sign up.
Round start date and Round end date: when matches are played.
Prices
Standard Entry Price: the entry fee per player. Set 0 if it's free. Turn it off if only certain cohorts may join.
Cohort prices: a different entry price for cohorts, such as members.
Team
Number of teams per division: 4 to 8 (default 8).
Maximum total number of teams: a multiple of the teams per division, or no limit. When it's reached, new teams join the waiting queue.
Home & Away Format: Single (teams meet once) or Double (twice).
Promotion & Relegation Places: how many teams move up and down at the end of the round (default 2).
Scoring
Scores affect players' levels: turn off if league results shouldn't change levels.
Standings points based on: Match outcome or Sets outcome.
Points for a win (default 3) and a loss (default 0), a bonus for a losing team that won a set, and points for unfinished sets. Or points per set won.
Duration and sets
Match duration: 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes (default 90). Players can only book league matches of this length.
Number of sets per match: 1, 2 or 3.
Number of games per set: 4 or 6.
Last set settings: Normal set or 10 point tiebreak.
Scheduling and Payments
Club schedules all matches — players pay a single entry fee for the full round. More admin, more control.
Players arrange matches themselves — each team pays per match when scheduling. Less admin; each team pays its share of the court when it books. With this option you can turn on Allow league matches to be booked on general availability and choose which courts.
Auto-Cancellation
Turn on Auto-cancel empty league matches and choose in If a league match is empty, cancel it: how long before (0 to 7 days). Empty league slots are then removed from your schedule so the court can be booked normally.
Good to know
Settings can't be saved while any division is locked. Before launch, you can unlock divisions (if none of their matches are scheduled) to change settings, then lock them again. After launch, wait for the next round.
Each new round copies the settings of the previous round, and you can change them.
