Nettla leagues handle sign-ups, payment, divisions, match scheduling, results, standings and promotion and relegation between rounds. Read this before you set up your first league.
Leagues is an add-on. Not every club has it. If you don't see Leagues under Play in the sidebar, your club doesn't have it yet. Contact Nettla to switch it on. If your club already has Leagues, this article and the numbered guides (1 to 10) explain how to run them.
Formats and sign-up
A league is singles or doubles.
In doubles, a player signs up together with their partner. The player who signs up pays for the team (their teammate can pay their own share in the app; anything unpaid is charged to the player who signed up).
You can limit the number of teams. When the round is full, players can join a waiting queue.
Two ways to run a round
Club schedules all matches: players pay one entry fee for the whole round, and you schedule every match.
Players arrange matches themselves: each team pays its share of the court for each match when it books it. You can set a low or zero entry price.
League slots
You add league slots to your schedule (booking type League Match). Players can only book league matches on these slots.
Slots can be further ahead than your normal booking window. League players can book league matches on them, but not regular bookings.
With player-arranged rounds, you can also let players book league matches on your general availability.
Results
Players report and confirm scores in the app.
Players or staff can report a score once the match has started.
You can choose per round whether league results change players' levels (Scores affect players' levels).
Matches played elsewhere
A result can only be recorded for a league match that is scheduled on a league slot in your schedule, and matches can only be scheduled on slots that haven't started yet. If teams played a match outside the club, contact Nettla for help recording the result.

There is no hidden or private league option. See "Can I hide a league from players?".
