3a and 3b should be executed during the same time period
Players sign up through the app
Players are able to join the league from the date you defined on League registration start date. You have also defined Maximum teams in league.
Lets say you have set "24" as maximum league teams:
First 24 sign-ups will get a spot and pay tp join (if payment i required)
Team 25 and beyond will instead see a waitlist option, to join waitlist
Set up divisions and assign teams
As teams are signing up, you will see them added on the Standings and Teams page. You can also manually add teams inside of Standings.
In Standings, press + Add division to set up Division 1, Division 2, etc.
Teams will arrive to the column called Unassigned, and you can from there drag and drop them into the correct division you want them to be part of.
This will go on until the League registration end date has passed.
After League registration end date (or maximum league teams have filled up), no more teams can join, and you can make the final changes to your standings board. Other players/teams can still sign up to the waitlist.
