How do I create a discount code?

Create a percentage discount code for your club and limit it by dates, usage, booking types, courts, times and cohorts.

Written by Nettla

Go to Shop → Discount Codes and click Add discount code. Discount codes give a percentage off and are set up per club.

Create the code

  1. Go to Shop → Discount Codes.

  2. Click Add discount code.

  3. Fill in the sections below.

  4. Click Save.

General

  • Name: for your staff only.

  • Discount Code: what players type. Capitals don't matter. Each active code at your club must be unique.

  • Discount in percentage: from 0.01 to 100.

Settings

  • Start date and End date: when the code can be used. Both are optional.

  • Maximum total usage: turn on to cap how many times the code can be used in total. Off means unlimited.

  • Maximum usage per user: turn on to cap uses per player. Set it to 1 for a one-time code per player.

  • Session start date and Session end date: limit the code to sessions on certain dates, whenever they are booked.

Booking Types

  • Court Bookings, Matches (public and private), Activities, Coach Bookings. All are ticked by default.

Other limits (all optional)

  • Activity Types: only selected activity types.

  • Coaches: only selected coaches.

  • Day & Time Rules: only certain days and times.

  • Courts: only selected courts.

  • Cohorts: only members of selected cohorts can use the code.

  • Excluded Cohorts: members of these cohorts can't use the code.

Good to know

  • Only percentage discounts can be created here.

  • Codes can't be used on league bookings, recurring bookings or bespoke bookings.

  • Codes only discount the booking price, not additional items.

  • There is no field for specific players. To give a code to certain people, add them to a cohort and limit the code to that cohort.

  • Discount codes are set up per club. There are no company-wide codes.

  • Players can use more than one different code on the same checkout.

  • To change a code later, open it and click Edit on the part you want to change. To stop a code, click ⋮ and choose Archive.
