Custom player levels let your company rename the level categories and change their ranges and descriptions, per sport. Players' ratings don't change; only the names, ranges and descriptions they see do. The new levels apply at every club in your company.
This is a feature that Nettla switches on for your company. If you don't see Player levels in your company's Settings, contact Nettla.
How to customise levels
From the Dashboard, open your company (not a club).
Go to Settings → Player levels.
If you have several sports with levels, choose the sport.
Click Customise levels (or Edit levels if you have customised them before, then confirm Edit levels).
For each level, fill in Name, From, To and Description.
Use Add level or Remove to change how many levels there are.
Click Save levels.
Click Publish to confirm.
Rules for the levels
You need at least 2 levels.
The last level must end at 7.
Each level must start 0.01 above where the previous one ends (for example, 2.49 then 2.50).
What changes for players
Players whose rating falls in a changed range see the new level name straight away.
Match level requirements are described with your new names.
Ratings themselves don't change, and neither does how the padel algorithm works.
Going back to the standard levels
Go to Settings → Player levels in your company.
Click Reset to defaults.
Click Reset to confirm.
The standard Nettla levels come back for every player.
Good to know
You need access to the company and the General Information permission at company level.
Changes go live only when you save and publish.
