Courses & Multi-Session Activities

What is it

Linked Recurring Activities let you market and sell activities made up of multiple sessions—for example a 5-week beginners course or a 3-day summer camp. Players enroll once and their place covers all dates in the series.

Before you start

  • Name clearly: e.g. “5-Week Padel Course (Tues 18:00)” or “3-Day Summer Camp (Aug 12–14)”.

  • Price = full course: Set the price for the entire series, not per session.

Step-by-step: Creation

  1. Create the Activity Type

Go to Activities → Activity Types → New. Give it a clear, multi-session name (see above). Add description, image, price for the entire course/series, and set min/max participants.

  2. Schedule the activity

Open your Calendar → New Activity and pick the Activity Type you just made.

    • Toggle on Recurring.

    • Choose Linked Recurring Activity.

    • Select the cadence (e.g., weekly or daily) and enter the number of sessions (e.g., 5 weeks or 3 days).

    • Review the auto-generated date list and save.

You’ll see a summary of all included dates before you confirm.

What players see

  • A recurring icon identifies courses in the app and the website widget.

  • The details page lists every date included in the price, so there’s no confusion about what they’re buying.

  • Players enrol once and are booked into all sessions in the series.

How capacity & price work

  • Min/Max participants and price apply to the series as a whole, and are validated on the first session of the series.

    • Practically: the minimum/maximum you set must be satisfied for the first date; those settings govern the course capacity overall.

  • Use the description to remind players the fee covers all dates and attendance is for the full course.

Tips

  • Include days/times in the title (e.g., “Weds 19:00”) for quick clarity.

  • If you run multiple groups, create separate series (e.g., Beginners A and Beginners B) to keep rosters clean.

  • After scheduling, double-check the dates list—edit if a session clashes with holidays.

  • Use Activity Categories to place all your courses in one folder, for easier player navigation
