Why do some players not see their refund on their bank account?

Why a player may not see a refund appear on their bank account after cancelling a booking in Nettla.

Whether a player sees a refund on their bank account depends on the following factors:

If the player cancelled something within 6 days from making the initial purchase:

The amount was only ”reserved” on their bank account, and never actually taken. In this case, the reserved amount will simply disappear from the player’s bank account and no ”real refund” has taken place. The release of the reservation may take up to 1 day to disappear.

If the player cancelled something after 6 days from making the initial purchase:

The amount has already been charged to the player’s bank account, and a ”real refund” will be issued. A real refund can sometimes take 2-3 days to appear, depending on card type and bank.

If a player reports that they were charged the full court amount and then received a partial refund, this is also expected behaviour for pay your part court bookings. The lead booker is initially charged the full court cost to secure the club's income. Once other players pay their shares, the lead booker receives a partial refund. This refund will appear within 6 days if the session was booked less than 6 days in advance, or within 2-3 business days if the session was booked more than 6 days ahead (as the payment will have been fully captured before the session took place).

You do not need to take any action in these cases — the system handles the refund automatically.
