Standard vs special period price lists — and when to use each

Two types, one default and one for temporary or future pricing

Written by Nettla

📅 Standard price list — your everyday pricing. Active by default, all year, unless a special period overrides it.

✨ Special period price list — optional, for a set date range. It automatically overrides your standard pricing while active, then your standard list takes over again when it ends.

Use a special period price list when you want to:

Offer holiday or low-season pricing 🏖️

Run a temporary surge or promotion

Launch a new price list from a future date (see the next article)

Both types support the same flexibility: pricing by day/time, cohort discounts, and bookable-hour control.

⚠️ A special list only takes effect on courts you assign it to — when you create it, select the courts (or toggle All courts) it should apply to.
