How do I make a limit apply only on certain days and times?

Restrict a booking limit or benefit limit to certain days and time windows, such as peak hours.

Written by Nettla

In the rule, switch on Set specific day and time rules and choose the days and time windows. The rule then only covers bookings that start inside those windows. Without day and time rules, a rule covers all days and times.

Booking limits are switched on by Nettla. Not every club has them. If you don't see Booking limits under Settings in the sidebar, your club doesn't have the feature yet. Contact Nettla to switch it on. Once it's on, you create and edit the limits yourself.

Set days and times

  1. Go to Settings → Booking limits.

  2. Click New booking limit, or the pencil icon on an existing rule.

  3. Switch on Set specific day and time rules.

  4. Tick the days the rule should cover.

  5. Set a start and end time for each day. Use + to add more than one window on the same day, for example 07:00–10:00 and 16:00–20:00.

  6. Click Save.

How it works

  • A booking is covered if it starts inside one of the windows, even if it ends after the window.

  • Bookings that start outside the windows don't count towards the allowance and aren't limited by the rule.

  • Times are in your club's timezone.

Examples

  • Peak hours only: cap all-inclusive members during weekday evenings and weekends, and leave off-peak time unlimited.

  • Off-peak benefit: give a member price only during quieter hours, so peak slots stay at the standard price.

  • Weekdays vs weekends: create two rules with different allowances, one for weekdays and one for weekends.
