A player's allowance is used up by their own bookings that the rule covers: bookings they made or joined, and that haven't been cancelled. Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly allowances reset at midnight in your club's timezone, and weeks start on Monday.
Booking limits are switched on by Nettla. Not every club has them. If you don't see Booking limits under Settings in the sidebar, your club doesn't have the feature yet. Contact Nettla to switch it on. Once it's on, you create and edit the limits yourself.
What counts
Bookings the player made or joined, and that aren't cancelled.
Only bookings the rule covers: matching booking types, courts and day and time windows.
Minutes rules count the length of each booking. Sessions rules count each booking as 1.
A booking counts once, however many courts it covers.
When allowances reset
Active and upcoming bookings: counts the player's bookings that haven't finished yet. A booking stops counting once it has been played, so this limit never resets but frees up as bookings end.
Per day: resets at midnight.
Per week: resets at midnight between Sunday and Monday.
Per month and Per year: reset at the start of each calendar month or year.
A booking counts in the period of the date being booked, not today. For example, a booking for next week counts towards next week's allowance.
At the edge of an allowance
The whole booking must fit in what's left. If a player has 60 minutes left and tries to book 90 minutes:
with a booking limit, the booking is refused;
with a benefit limit, the member pays the standard price for the whole booking.
Admin bookings
Bookings you create as an admin aren't blocked by booking limits.
Benefit limits still apply, so the player may pay the standard price once their allowance is used.
Good to know
If Nettla switches the Booking limits feature off for your club, your rules stop applying, but they're kept.
