A lead booker's payment moves through a sequence rather than settling in one step. Multiple status changes on one payment are normal — it's one transaction, not three.
The statuses
Uncaptured — reserved on the card, not charged. No Stripe fee yet.
Succeeded — charged. Counts as club income.
Cancelled — a reserved amount was released. Common when a player cancels within 6 days of their purchase. The player sees no refund, because nothing was ever taken.
Refunded — a charged payment was returned in full. Common when a player cancels more than 6 days after their purchase, since it had already been charged on day 6.
Partially refunded — part of a charged payment was returned. Usually a lead booker's pay your part settlement, or a manual partial refund by an admin.
Failed — open the payment in Stripe; the decline reason is usually in the details.
A Succeeded payment before the session is normal
If a court was booked well in advance, you'll see Succeeded several days before it's played. That's the day-6 charge required by card rules. It doesn't mean the amount is final — the refund follows after the session.
Your payout is unaffected
Your club receives its full court income either way. The refund reduces what the lead booker paid, not what you earn.
Tracing a specific payment
Players → Player list → find the player → Purchases → find the purchase → open it. The Stripe log at the bottom of the side panel shows every status change with timestamps. For more detail — exact decline reasons, fee breakdowns — open the payment in your Stripe Dashboard.
Contact Nettla if a payment is still Uncaptured more than 6 days after purchase, the status is Failed, or the amounts don't match the expected split.
