What are the booking types in the schedule?

What each booking type in the Calendar is for, and which ones can cover several courts.

Written by Nettla

There are nine booking types: Court Booking, Public Match, Private Match, Recurring Booking, Bespoke Booking, Private Coaching, Activity, League Match and Unavailable. You choose one under Booking type when you create a booking in Calendar → Schedule:

  • Court Booking: a player books a court. The price comes from your price list. Players pay their part, or one player pays in full.

  • Public Match: an open match that players at the right level can find and join in the app. Padel and tennis courts only. Each player always pays their own part.

  • Private Match: a match only for invited players. Padel and tennis courts only. Split payment or paid in full.

  • Recurring Booking: the same court and time for one player, repeated every week or every few weeks (contract time). One payment covers the whole series.

  • Bespoke Booking: events, schools, charities or anything that needs a custom price. You set the price.

  • Private Coaching: a lesson with one of your coaches. The price comes from the coach's prices.

  • Activity: a session of one of your activity types, such as a class, social or course.

  • League Match: a match in one of your leagues. Only shown if your club has created a league.

  • Unavailable: blocks courts so nobody can book them, for example for maintenance.

Bookings on several courts

Bespoke Booking, Activity and Unavailable can cover several courts. Court Booking, Public Match, Private Match, Private Coaching and Recurring Booking are greyed out when you select more than one court.

Good to know

  • Court Booking, matches and Recurring Booking need a price for that time and player in your price list. If there's none, use Bespoke Booking.

  • Players can't cancel a bespoke booking themselves. They're asked to contact the club.
