How do I block courts as unavailable?

Close courts for maintenance, cleaning, training or staff play, once or on a repeating pattern.

Written by Nettla

Create an Unavailable booking in Calendar → Schedule. Players can't book the blocked times. You can block several courts at once and repeat the block every week.

Steps

  1. Go to Calendar → Schedule and go to the date.

  2. Click or drag over the times. Drag across several columns to block several courts.

  3. Under Booking type, choose Unavailable.

  4. Choose a Reason: Maintenance, Cleaning, Training, Employees playing for free or Other. Optional: Add note.

  5. Optional: switch on Recurring and choose Repeat every, Until and the weekdays.

  6. Optional: switch on Activate automatic lights to turn the lights on for the block.

  7. Click Create.

Change or remove a block

  • To change the reason, click the block and use Edit unavailable reason.

  • To remove it, click the block, then Cancel unavailable. The block is deleted and the time can be booked again.

Good to know

  • Use Employees playing for free when staff use a court, so it's clear why the court was blocked.

  • Activate automatic lights only appears if your club has a lights integration. Nettla sets this up for you.

  • You can't move a booking onto a blocked time.

  • For permanent changes to your opening hours, change your price list instead. See "How do I change the hours players can book?"
