How do I add a court camera?

Show players that a court has a camera and which provider it uses, so they know they can record their game.

Written by Nettla

Open the court in Settings → Courts, click Edit, turn on Camera on court, choose the provider in Select camera provider and click Save. Players then see a camera icon on that court in the app.

Add a camera to a court

  1. Go to Settings → Courts.

  2. Click the court.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Under Details, turn on Camera on court.

  5. Choose the provider in Select camera provider: PlaySight, CourtMaster, Clutch, Spash or PadX.

  6. Click Save.

What players see

  • In the mobile app, a camera icon on the court. Tapping it opens "Camera on court", which says the game can be recorded on this court and that instructions are at the court entrance, with a "Powered by" link to the provider.

Good to know

  • You set this up per court.

  • Recording, watching and analysing happen in the camera provider's own system, not in Nettla. Put the provider's instructions at the court entrance.

  • Players need an up-to-date app to see PadX cameras.

  • To remove a camera, turn off Camera on court and click Save.
