When you log in to your Stripe Dashboard, the Payments → Analytics section shows you all successful purchases made through your account. However, it’s important to know that:
These numbers include all successful charges, even if some of them were later refunded.
Refunds are not deducted from the analytics view. This means the revenue shown there can look higher than what you actually keep.
To see your true net revenue (after refunds), you’ll need to:
Check the Transactions page and filter for “Refunded” payments, or
Review your Balance reports, which give a net view including refunds and payouts.
👉 In short: Stripe Analytics = gross sales, not net income. Always cross-check with your Balance reports if you need the actual revenue after refunds.
