When do we receive our money? (payouts)

How money moves from players to your Stripe account and on to your bank, and where you set your payout schedule.

Written by Nettla

Player payments go to your company's Stripe account. Stripe then pays the money out to your business bank account on the schedule you choose in your Stripe Dashboard, for example daily or weekly.

How money reaches your bank

  1. A player pays in the Nettla app or on the web.

  2. For bookings, the money is first reserved on the player's card.

  3. The money is charged about 4 hours after the session ends. If the session ends more than 6 days after the purchase, it's charged 6 days after the purchase instead.

  4. Once charged, it's added to your Stripe balance (after Stripe's fee and Nettla's fees).

  5. Stripe pays out your balance to your bank account on your payout schedule.

Memberships, club wallet purchases, bespoke bookings and recurring bookings are charged straight away.

How to change how often you get paid

  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.

  2. Open your payout settings.

  3. Choose your payout schedule, for example daily, weekly or monthly.

  4. Save.

Good to know

  • Booking money is often charged days after the booking was made, so your payouts follow when sessions are played, not when they were booked.

  • Your bank may take extra time to show a payout after Stripe sends it.

  • If your company has several clubs on one Stripe account, all clubs are paid out together. Use the club ID in your Stripe exports to split income per club.
