How to set different prices for different days and times

Use price variants for peak and off-peak

Written by Nettla

Within one price list you can charge more at peak times and less when it's quiet, using price variants. 📈📉

Go to Settings → Price Lists → Standard Price Lists and open your list

Start with a "peak" variant at your highest price, covering all your opening days/hours. This is your backstop so every bookable hour always has a price.

Click Add new price variant

Name it clearly (e.g. "Off-Peak" or "Weekday Mornings")

Set the lower price and choose the exact days/times it applies (e.g. Mon–Fri 07:00–15:00)

💡 Overlaps are fine. When variants overlap, Nettla automatically charges the lowest applicable price for that player at that time. So you don't need to carve out perfect, non-overlapping blocks — just layer your discounts on top of the peak backstop.

Example use cases:

Early-bird / first hour cheaper — want the first hour of each day to have a lower price? Add a price variant (e.g. "Early Bird"), set it to Mon–Sun 07:00–08:00 (or whatever your first opening hour is), and give it your lower rate. Players booking that slot automatically get the cheaper price — no discount code needed.

Off-peak mornings — apply a lower price Mon–Fri 07:00–12:00 to fill quieter morning slots. Players booking those hours get the cheaper rate automatically.

Weekend premium — add a higher-priced variant for Sat–Sun to reflect higher demand. Because Nettla always charges the lowest applicable price when variants overlap, your weekend variant will only apply where no cheaper variant exists.
