What does Sales activity show?

Sales activity shows your card sales by purchase date. What's included, what's left out and how to filter it.

Written by Nettla

Insights → Sales activity shows the value of what players paid by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, on the day they bought it. Stripe's fees and Nettla's fees aren't deducted, and Nettla's booking fee isn't included.

What you see

  • sales: the total for the period.

  • A Sales Insights line chart by day.

  • Filters for the date (the last 7 days including today by default) and Article type, for example court bookings, matches, activities, memberships, Wallet (club wallet purchases) and Add-ons (additional items).

What's included

  • Payments by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay that are reserved, charged or partly refunded.

  • For partly refunded payments, the amount your club kept.

  • Club wallet purchases paid by card.

What's not included

  • Amounts paid with a club wallet.

  • Bookings marked as paid, free of charge or unpaid.

  • Cancelled and fully refunded payments.

  • Nettla's booking fee (the Technology fee players see).

Dates and refunds

  • Each sale is shown on the day it was bought, in your club's time zone, not the day it's played.

  • If a booking is later cancelled or refunded, the original day updates automatically.

Good to know

  • Pay your part bookings are counted high until they're settled about 4 hours after the session ends, because the lead booker's whole reserved amount is counted. The figure corrects itself.

  • Refunds to a club wallet don't reduce Sales activity, because your club keeps the card payment.

  • If your company has several clubs, the company-level Insights → Sales activity page lets you compare clubs.

  • To see why this differs from Stripe, see "Why don't Nettla's numbers match Stripe?".
