Use Recurring linked sessions when you schedule the activity. Players sign up once, pay once and are booked onto every session in the series, for example a 5-week beginners course or a 3-day summer camp.
Before you start
Name the type clearly, for example "5-Week Padel Course (Tue 18:00)".
Set the price for the whole course, not per session. Players pay the price once when they join.
How to create a course
Go to Play → Activities → Types and click Add activity type.
Add the name, description, image, the price for the whole course and the Minimum participants and Maximum participants.
Click Save.
Go to Calendar → Schedule and select the first date, time and court(s).
Under Booking type, choose Activity and select your type.
Turn on Recurring.
Set Repeat every, Until and the days.
Choose Recurring linked sessions.
Check the list of dates.
Click Create.
What players see
A repeat icon shows the activity is a course, in the app and the website widget.
The details page lists every date included in the price.
Joining books the player onto all future sessions in the series.
The whole series shares one group chat.
How the first session controls the course
Capacity and automatic cancellation are checked on the first session.
If the first session is auto-cancelled, the whole course is cancelled and players are refunded.
Add or remove players and change visibility on the first session. Changes there apply to the whole course.
Editing the first session's settings updates the other sessions too (except prices).
Cancelling the first session cancels the whole course.
Cancelling one date
Open a later session and click Cancel single session. The refund options are No refund or Refund to wallet.
Good to know
In Play → Activities → Types → [type] → Upcoming, a course shows as one row with a repeat icon.
To run several groups, create separate courses (for example Beginners A and Beginners B).
